What Is  The Washed Coffee Process

In the washed coffee process, outer layers of the cherry are removed, exposing green coffee beans. After agitation in water tanks, beans soak, allowing defective ones to float and be removed. Following drying in the sun, hulled beans are sorted and packaged for shipment.

What Is  E.A. Deaf Process:?

Ethyl Acetate (E.A.) decaffeination method is a process that gently removes caffeine from coffee beans. Through a water and ethyl acetate solution, caffeine is extracted and separated, leaving behind decaffeinated coffee beans. This natural method, found in fruits like bananas and apples, is less intrusive and is employed in some of our coffee varieties for a wholesome decaffeination process.

What Is The Wet-Hulled Process

The wet-hulled process, or Giling Basah, unique to Sumatra and Indonesia, involves immediate removal of coffee cherry pulp after harvest. After fermentation, washing, and drying, the green coffee beans are revealed by removing the outer parchment layer. This process imparts a distinctive flavor profile—earthy, spicy, and herbal, characterized by low acidity and a robust body.
